The heavy-duty dump trucks will be assigned to units responsible for route restoration, airfield repair and other construction missions that enable military forces to sustain operations in both domestic emergencies and overseas deployments.
The latest order continues the Army’s effort to modernize its fleet of engineer support vehicles with platforms capable of operating in demanding environments while transporting large volumes of construction materials needed for rapid infrastructure recovery.
