In space technologies, EDGE launched ZENITH, a sovereign operations and data orchestration platform that integrates imagery and data streams from national, commercial, and allied satellite constellations.

ZENITH acts as a comprehensive hub, streamlining real-time mission planning, task assignment, data delivery, and workflow management. This platform enhances Earth observation and space situational awareness, delivering a unified operational picture critical for coordinated space and terrestrial missions.

Advanced Radar Systems and Secure Communication Solutions

EDGE also enhanced its portfolio in sensors and electronic warfare with new radar technologies that marry AI with digital processing to create versatile, multi-domain tools.

The AL HARRIS X radar is designed for short-range air defense and counter-drone operations, using AI for threat classification and trajectory prediction to secure borders, coastal areas, and vital infrastructure. Its complement, the AMES P airborne reconnaissance pod, delivers high-fidelity signal detection and geolocation for manned and unmanned aerial platforms, supporting electronic surveillance and intelligence gathering.

Addressing secure communications, EDGE introduced the KATIM GATEWAY X9000M, a highly portable, government-grade encryption device ensuring secure network connectivity in all operational scenarios. This pocket-sized encryptor integrates seamlessly with existing KATIM infrastructure and strengthens national cybersecurity by protecting sensitive communications in the defense sector.

EDGE’s Growing Global Impact

Since its inception at the Dubai Airshow in 2019, where EDGE revealed 30 products, the group has grown its portfolio to more than 250 items, with 150 featured at this year’s event.

This remarkable growth showcases the UAE’s increasing self-reliance in defense technology and the strategic global partnerships fueling EDGE’s international competitiveness. With more than half of EDGE’s revenue now derived from exports, the group is firmly positioned as a significant global player in advanced defense solutions.

Under the theme “Always Ahead Always Above,” EDGE continues to demonstrate leadership in advanced military technologies across air, space, propulsion, smart weapons, radar, electronic warfare, and secure communications. Its presence at Dubai Airshow 2025, both indoors and outdoor, highlights a transformative journey from ambitious beginnings to a formidable global force shaping the future of defense innovation.
